EEEKK! by EPOS and Magic Electronics
EEEKK! is a game designed by EPOS Corporation that was distributed by Magic Electronics as a Pac Man Conversion in 1983. This allowed operators to easily repurpose Pac Man cabinets that were no longer high earners. We hope you enjoy our project build pictures, videos, and links to fascinating information about EEEKK!

12/19/2022 - Thanks to Rob Mitchell, we now have a project cabinet. This was a “barn find” Pac Man cabaret. It does have a control panel and some other parts (not shown here) Front view of cabinet.

PCB First Test
12/24/2022 - This is the first test of the JAMMA fingerboard wiring in one of my Candy Cabinets. After some sync adjustments, you can see there is a nasty ground issue.
PCB Second Test
12/24/2022 - Fixed Grounding and Sound issues. Looks like this PCB is working fine with no apparent issues.
Lighted 1P/2P Buttons - Initial tests
Added wiring that will allow use of the lighted button feature. This feature is unique to the dedicated TriStar board and allows for flashing player start buttons on coin-up. This video uses a pair of multimeters to show voltage changes rather than an actual button.
Lighted 1P/2P Buttons - w/Volcano Buttons
Same test as before -- but with actual volcano buttons. Looks like this should work well!

Cabinet wiring
7/9/2023 - majority of cabinet wiring has been completed — including addition of lighted coin slots. Still need to put yoke flipper switches on CRT. We have elected to not use the Double Jamma — as this resulted in a dead pac man board that now needs to be repaired. Not sure where the issue is.
Final Build
7/25/2023 - A video showing the final build. A few areas that I plan to improve after the show — but overall, pretty happy with how it turned out.
